At the center is 12-year-old Aviva who most of all wants to be a mum. She's ready to do anything to achieve it, and nearly succeeds, but is stopped finally by her sensible parents. She runs away and her journey brings her in the company of the singing Free Church Sunshine Family, sensible little schoolboys and guilt-ridden truckdrivers.
