The Book of Birdie
Being a teenager is always special, but for Birdie, it’s really out of the ordinary. Her dark and lively imagination goes so far that she is placed in an old convent in hopes of turning her dark thoughts into good intentions. When she wakes up in a puddle of blood on the very first night, she realizes that her stay on the convent won’t exactly make her less drawn to her dark thoughts. She befriends a confident and happy girl called Julia, the groundkeeper’s daughter, but decides to, with or without Julia, explore her imagination as well as the dark spirits that seem to live around the convent.
