Source code

11 yrs 89 minutes 2011 7.5

The military pilot Colter Steven sits on a commuter train heading towards central Chicago. After a few minutes the train is blown up and all the passengers die. Stevens wakes up, shaken and tied up in a mysterious chamber. From a video screen, a woman orders him to return to the train and relive the last eight minutes of the unknown man’s life – until he manages to identify the bomber. Kulturbloggen’s Jonatan Södergren rates the movie 4 out of 5 and writes: “Good science fiction has always been about pushing the line, which is exactly what Duncan Jones achieves, and in addition, Source Code has a twist in the end that causes a feeling few other films have caused”.
