The Place Beyond the Pines

Luke makes aliving as a motorcycle stuntman at a traveling cirkus. Life gets a new turn the day he gets to know that he has a little son with Romina, the girl he so cowardly abandoned a year earlier. Luke decides to take responsibility and become a better dad than his own was. In an attempt to support his new family, he commits a series of bank robberies where his skill in managing his motorcycle is crucial. When the relatively inexperienced, but ambitious policeman Avery Cross gets in his way, both their and their family's lives change for ever. Expressen's Jorun Amcoff thinks the movie is "a strong story by talented actors" as well as "two hours of high class film entertainment"
