Copenhagen

15 yrs 98 minutes 2014 7.0

The American William and his friend Jeremy have reached their final destination of their trip around Europe. The purpose of the journey, to reach Copenhagen, was determined after William found an unsent letter, written by his father, addressed to his grandfather. Since William doesn’t speak Danish, he couldn’t read the letter, but given that his grandfather left the family many years ago, he has a feeling of what it contains. He decides to try to give the letter to his grandfather and confront him, and finds the young girl Effy as a helper. With Effy being spontaneous and happy, she becomes a strong contrast to William’s odd and sometimes unpleasant persona.
