After his fiancee leaves him, Leonard moves home to his parents in Brooklyn. He is interested in photography, but spends his days helping out at his parents' dry cleaner and being depressed. His parents try to set him up with a friend's daughter, Sandra, but he cannot really seem to engage. Sandra, in turn, sees that Leonard only needs some help to heal his broken heart to return to the living. But one day, Leonard's parents get a new neighbor, Michelle. She sweeps in like a breeze, and quickly becomes Leonard's friend. Or is it more than that? Michelle is hard to read and has a lot of bagage and suddenly Leonard finds himself in a love triangle. Why is love so hard?
