In Madrid, Harry Caine is a blind scriptwriter, assisted by Judit and her son Diego. The past comes running back when Harry hears that Ernesto Martel, a wealthy businessman, is dead. In a series of flashbacks to the 1990's, we see Harry, who then still could see when he was Mateo Blanco, the director. We see how he falls in love with Ernesto's mistress, Lena, and gives her a role in a movie that Ernesto finances. Ernesto is envious and obsessive and sends his son to follow Lena and Mateo, and to let him see the recorded material daily. At the same time, Judit has her own plans for the blind author. Passion, obsession, wealth, jealousy, family, guilt and creativity all appear in this Spanish drama. Aftonbladet's Jens Petersen thinks it is "very entertaining" and "an interesting love statement".
