3:10 to Yuma is based on a short story by Elmore Leonard and was adapted for the screen in 1957 with Glenn Ford in the leading role of a robber on the way to his execution. The remake of this classic western is made by US director James Mangold. Rancher Dan Evans heads into Bisbee to clear up issues concerning the sale of his land when he witnesses the closing events of a stagecoach robbery led by famed outlaw Ben Wade. Shortly thereafter, Wade is captured by the law in Bisbee and Evans finds himself as one of the escorts who will take Wade to the 3:10 to Yuma train in Contention for the reward of $200. But the path is lined by bloodthirsty bandits who want to liberate their leader in a film that turns into an action packed adventure.
