Mrs. Laura Henderson, a very wealthy, well-connected woman, is recently a widow. She is only 69 years old, and too vital and energetic to resign to a quiet life. A friend named Lady Conway advise that she collect diamonds or dedicate herself to charity. But to everyone's surprise she buys a run-down theatre in the heart of Soho.
