Park Chan-wook won the Best Director Award at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival for the crime drama Decision to leave. The film was also South Korea's entry at the 95th Academy Awards. A mysterious case concerning a man who fell to his death while climbing in the mountains lands on the desk of the timid police officer and investigator Hae-Jun. Seo-Rae, the victim's widow, becomes a suspect, but soon she has Hae-Jun wrapped around her finger.
