Sophia is 35 years old and has just finished her dissertation. But when she doesn’t get her dream job at the university as she had hoped, she suddenly finds herself an unemployed academic who has to move in with her brother, Karim, to make ends meet. Sophia and Karim's lives become more and more intertwined and the two siblings get very close, until there’s an unexpected complication. Karim falls in love with Eloïse, and Sophia doesn’t like the fact that her brother longer shows up for her whenever she needs him to.
