In this reality-based drama, we meet 13-year-old Ernst. His mother is dead and his father is a traveling salesman, which makes Ernst a good candidate for the Nazi euthanasia program in a psychiatric ward. He quickly realizes that this is a place to escape from and devises both an escape plan and a way to sabotage the program. Ernst does everything possible to save his new friends. This moving film has been praised at several film festivals and is directed by the acclaimed Kai Wessel.
