This is a quiet and sad drama of love, based on a novel by Eric Holder. The craftsman Jean lives a quiet life with his wife and son in a small town in France. One day, the son's teacher, Mademoiselle Chambon, asks if he can do a job for her. Both enjoy the company off one another, and Jean's well-organized life is at its peak and he is drawn between the safe life of the family and his feelings for Mademoiselle Chambon. Bernt Eklund in Expressen means that the movie is "a pleasure to see".
