Lost river is Ryan Gosling's directing debut. In Lost River, a deserted city that most people already have abandoned, a ruthless struggle is played out between good and evil. The single mom Billy is forced to work at a shady night club. Her oldest teenage son collects copper from abandoned buildings but soon comes into conflict with the self-appointed gang leader Bully. When Bones discovers a road leading to a secret underwater city, both Billy and Bones are deeply drawn into a mystery to save the lives of their family. Moviezine’s Alexander Dunerfors gives the film the highest rating as the result is "something unique, strikingly beautifully".
