The Secret of Moonacre

The Secret of Moonacre, directed by Gabor Csupo is based on the book The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge. The action takes place in 1840s when 13-year-old Maria becomes orphaned and forced to leave her luxurious London life to live with her eccentric uncle, Sir Benjamin, at the mysterious Moonacre Manor. There, she ends up in the middle of an old family feud with the dark and sinister De Noir family. Maria discovers that she is the last Moon Princess, and must, with the help of an unlikely mixture allies, people and animals, uncover ancient secrets to save Moonacre Valley from disappearing into the sea.
