Penguin Bloom

During a family holiday in Thailand, the sporty Samantha Bloom breaks her back. She becomes paralyzed from the back down and enters a depression where she questions who she should be in the world and in her family. From having been a person who surfs and travels, in Penguin Bloom we get to follow how she ends up in the middle of a deep crisis. When the kids bring home an injured magpie they call Penguin, Samantha eventually begins to grow closer to the new family member.
