The classic Escape from New York is set in 1997 where Manhattan has been transformed into a high-security hangout. When the President of the United States accidentally crashes his plane and ends up in the middle of prison, there seems to be no way for him to get out. The only way out seems to be with the help of the one-eyed bank robber Snake Plissken, who has been sent into Manhattan to get the president out.
