Bondens tid på jorden

In this scenic documentary, we follow the farmers Styrbjörn and Solveig Ejneby who maintain and preserve an older agricultural landscape outside Oskarshamn in Småland. They harrow the field with a horse, drive home firewood to the farm and take care of the cattle using old, traditional methods. Styrbjörn took over the family farm in 1971 and has since run it without poisons or artificial fertilizers. A work that has been both praised and criticized over the more than 40 years that have passed. The film is rich in beautiful photos of the farm's surroundings and tributes to the Swedish landscape.
