Wild Rose
When Rose-Lynn (Jessie Buckley) finally comes out of prison, it is not her two children that she engages in – because the rebellious worker girl Rose-Lynn from Glasgow just wants to sing country, and most preferably, make a career in Nashville. She gets a job at Susannah’s, and thanks to that friendship there might be a chance for a singing career. But when you bet everything you have, you can also lose it. Aftonbladets Jens Peterson writes in his review: "Everything does not go as you think, but you believe in the people in the film and the choices they make. Wild Rose makes the heart sing". Jessie Buckley has been nominated for several awards for her performance, including a BAFTA in the category Best Leading Actress.
