Although Forrest Tucker (Robert Redford) has long since reached retirement age, he cannot stop robbing banks. Since the age of 15, he has gone in and out of prison and been able to escape 18 times, both from San Quentin and Alcatraz. His robberies are always gentlemanly executed, and he is very eager to act politely towards the bank staff. But then he meets the widow Jewel (Sissy Spacek) and must choose: should he continue the trajectory of the crime or put the crime on the shelf and invest in love? The film is based on the true story of Forrest Tucker and is the last movie that 83-year-old Robert Redford starred in. He was nominated for a Golden Globe for his contribution.
