I this dazzled film we meet the young songwriters BV (Ryan Gossling) and Faye (Rooney Mara), who live in a stormy on-and-off relationship. When BV meets another woman, Faye contact Cook (Michael Fassbender), with whom she previously had a relationship. The charismatic music producer Cook is also BV's biggest competitor and enemy. The three of them end up in a complicated love story and an intensive chain of events is started. Terence Malick's new film Song to song causes SVT Kulturnyttt's reviewer Mikael Timm to erupt: "Malick is a master at doing what can only be seen with moving pictures: The water swirls, the dust dances, the quays write something in the sky". He also thinks that "Malick is here making a movie for the future".
