In 1422, England decides that the country's newly crowned king should rule over both England and France. At the same time in a small village in France, a girl named Jeanne d'Arc receives a message from heaven: You are chosen to help the French king. To do so, she must dress like a man, carry weapons and lead an army. Quite soon she leads her soldiers in a big battle, and they defeat the English. But for Jeanne d´Arc, the fight has just begun.
