This is the acclaimed short film director Guðmundur Arnar Guðmundsson’s debut feature film. A captivating story about growing up. During an eventful summer, we follow the teenage boys Thor and Kristjan who lives in a remote small Icelandic fishing village. Thor, who lives with his single mother and two sisters, has fallen in love with one of the village's popular girls. Kristjan, who lives with his alcoholic and homophobic father, realizes that he is in love with his best friend. Sofia Olsson at Kulturnyheterna writes "A few summer months will never be as crucial as when you are a teenager. Like an eternity where world order, personality and hierarchies can change several times.” Karolina Fjellborg writes in Aftonbladet that this is a "staggeringly beautiful Icelandic upbringing.”
