Psychological thriller with Joel Edgerton, tough lessons in the military in Mexico, and love in Finnish are some of the ingredients in this week's newly released films on Viddla.

Crossing Lines follows the reformed criminal Cairo, who enjoys his new life as a consultant trying to leave the gang. When his nephew Hamza disappears, Cairo discovers that he has secretly rejoined his old gang.

In The Gift, we meet the married couple Simon and Robyn. One day, they run into Simon's high school classmate, Gordo Moseley (Joel Edgerton). Gordo insinuates into their lives, with mysterious gifts and a frightening secret from the past.

Everybody Wants Some is a slightly cheeky teen comedy, set in 1980s Texas. True guy vibes in frat houses over the summer, wrapped in an 80s look and directed by Richard Linklater.

Nazira and her family have finally found a home in Tensta, Sweden. But one evening they are threatened with a gun by a group of boys in a parking lot. Their hard-won sense of security no longer feels so secure. But should they move? Om alla bara drar is a timely documentary.

In a society where future prospects are few and poor, many choose to enlist in the military. 18-year-old Luis is one of them, but the Mexican military system is anything but an easy way out. The drama Heroico has won several film awards.

Love in Finnish is not easy either, in Fallen Leaves (Höstlöv som faller). Two lonely souls meet in modern Helsinki, but does fate really want them to become a couple?
