England's worst football team, an aspiring jockey in Australia and a black comedy about a man with very unusual features, are some of the themes in this week's newly published films at Viddla.

An actor has plastic surgery to dramatically alter his looks, but his dream face soon becomes a nightmare. A Different Man was Oscar-nominated, and the lead Sebastian Stan won a Golden Globe for Best Male Actor in the role as Edward. 

Ride Like A Girl is a warm and inspiring coming-of-age story about a young woman who dreams of being a jockey and participate in the Melbourne Cup. The movie is based on the true story of Michelle Payne who grew up in a family with nine other siblings, where eight of them competed as jockeys. Veteran Sam Neill plays the widowed dad who trains all his children. 

In the 1970s Bromley FC was England's worst football team in the league and had been for ages. But that is about to change! Dave Roberts, Bromley's most dedicated fan decides to come up with a plan for winning matches. The Bromley Boys is a warm comedy about growing up, and about falling in love with football. 

Asterix and his companion Obelix must help their fellow countryman Alafolix beat Brutus in the upcoming Olympics, so that he can marry the beautiful Irina. But, as usual, things do not go according to plan, and our friends must use all their strenghts to manage the task, in Asterix at the Olympic Games.

Director Greta Gerwig (Barbie) plays one of the lead roles in the movie Hannah Takes the Stairs. She is in love with two script writers at work. But, will it destroy one friendship, if she chooses a relationship with the other one? This is an indie-movie, made with no written script. 

Ernest Cole worked as freelance photographer in South-Africa during the Apartheid regime. In the documentary Ernest Cole: Lost and Found we follow his journey documenting the atrocities that happened. Cole eventually had to flee to the USA, and in 2017 60,000 of his negatives were discovered in a Swedish bank deposit box.
