Two good friends take a prolonged motorcycle-ride. One is Alberto, and the other a student of medicine named Ernesto, later to become revolutionary leader Che Guevara. See The Motorcycle Diaries.
Jan works as a nurse in Greenland, where he aspires to be recognized as “Kalak”, a real greenlander. He leads a chaotic life at pubs and through random sexual encounters, until he is forced to confront his childhood traumas.
In Knives and Skin traumatic secrets come to the surface after a disappearance. The three friends Charlotte, Laurel and Joanna get closer as friends, but must grow up fast as dramatic events unfold in their lives.
Enjoy your film-week!
