Gary Johnson (Glen Powell) is the most wanted professional hitman in New Orleans. But if you pay him to kill a cheating spouse or a violent boss, you're in trouble because he workds undercover for the police. When a desperate woman hires him to kill her violent husband, he breaks all the rules by not only talking her out of it - but also falling in love with her. Soon Gary is in over his head involved in deceit, fraud and more or less criminal acts.
