Emily lives alone with her mother after her father passed away. The mother is a children's author who writes fantasy books, but is now mourning the death of her father. Trying to cheer her up again, Emily finds a mysterious box with a storybook that turns out to be a portal to the magical world of Faunutland, the same world her mother has written about. In Faunutland, dark forces are taking over, and Emily is forced to embark on an adventure in the world of fairy tales.
