Eva is a former dancer who is in a wheelchair after a car accident. When she receives an advent calendar as a present, it turns out to be the start of a nightmarish countdown to Christmas Eve. In each gap, Eva gets to wish for something, but it turns out that the wishes have negative consequences on the surroundings. She must choose between getting rid of the calendar or having her greatest wish come true - to be able to walk again.
