Pavarotti
Luciano Pavarotti (1935–2007) was born into a working-class family in Modena, Italy. Through his father, who was a baker, he developed a passion for opera, and blessed with a powerful voice and with training from Italy's leading opera teachers, Pavarotti soon became a world star on the opera stage. Using archival material, previously unreleased material from home videos and photographs, and interviews with family and close friends, director Ron Howard reviews Pavarotti's career, and also discovers the man behind the star.
