Creating Woodstock

15 yrs 110 minutes 2019 7.6

No music festival is more well-known or mythical than Woodstock in 1969. For three days, some of the most influential artists of the time and more than 400,000 spectators gathered in a field in the state of New York to experience music and manifest for peace. The documentary Creating Woodstock tells the story of the small group of people who organized the festival. Through interviews and research material, we get to know what was going on behind the scenes of one of the 20th century’s biggest music events.
