Two years have passed since Ingimundur's much-loved wife died in a tragic accident, but he is still engrossed in grief and dismissed from his job as police chief. When he goes through his wife's things, a suspicion arises. Ingimundur becomes increasingly obsessed with finding the truth and inevitably exposes himself and his loved ones to danger. The film has been rewarded for several awards, for example at the Cannes Film Festival. Sylvia Balac writes in Aftonbladet that it is: "A beautiful and really exciting film, which rises from low-key drama to intense thriller." In Kulturnyheter's review, Fredrik Sahlin highlights the film's photo: “A unique photograph that remains in the mind long after the story has ended.
