Alice and the Mayor
Lyon Mayor Paul Théraneau (Fabrice Luchini) aims to become the President of France. But after 30 years in politics, he has lost his drive and have problems finding his vision. His ideas have run out and he feels empty. To rekindle his enthusiasm, he hires a young philosopher, Alice (Anaïs Demoustier), as an advisor, hoping she will provide him with new angles to hopefully get him to regain the job satisfaction and creativity. Jan Söderqvist at Svenska Dagbladet gives Alice and the Mayor the second highest rating and calls it a "playful French film that deserves our love".
