Paris 1897. Edmond Rostand is a playwright among the geniuses. Unfortunately, the failures have lined up and now he is paralyzed at the mere sight of a blank paper in front of him. So, the panic is complete when the great Constant Coquelin storms in and insists on getting the lead in Edmond's next play. He is a gentleman whom you do not say no to and thus not his demand for a premiere date. In three weeks! Edmond has not written a word and has no idea what the play is about. All he has is a title – “Cyrano de Bergerac”. Fredrik Sahlin at SVT's Kulturnytt calls the film "little entertaining”.
