In this Polish drama, we meet heavy metal lover Jacek. He lives with his dog and girlfriend in a small town where everyone, including his family, see him as a freak. One day everything changes – Jacek is involved in a serious accident at the construction site where he works and his whole face gets disfigured. He thus becomes the first person in the country to undergo a face transplant, and now all eyes are on him.
The film was awarded the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival 2018.
