Produced by Pedro Almodovar and Argentina's contribution to the Academy Award 2019, this is the biographical thriller about Carlos Robledo Puch's path from an innocent film star-like youngster to one of Argentina's worst serial killers. Buenos Aires in the 1970s and seventeen-year-old Carlos, who just realized that his life's call is to become a thief, has just met Ramon. Ramon is a guy at Carlos' new school who he would very much like to impress. Together they experience wonderful adventures filled with love and violence. When Carlos is finally arrested and the media get the news of the angelic Carlos' violent attitude, he is nicknamed "The Angel of Death". He has now been incarcerated for more than 45 years. Fredrik Sahlin writes in his review on Kulturnyheterna that the film is undeniably good: "The ambitious production design (scenography, props, costume) revives the 70s in a cool and compelling way."
