Paris, Je t'aime
A tender and well-directed episode film that takes place in a mythical and romantic place. The film is a collective collaboration between eighteen prominent directors, including Olivier Assayas, the Coen Brothers, Alfonso Cuáron, Alexander Payne, Tom Tykwer, Gus van Sant and many more, each of whom received five minutes to tell about everyday life in the city of romance: Paris. It's a collage of sweet romance for all of you who still believe in love and a postcard for anyone dreaming of going there. Expressen's Bernt Eklund thinks that "Episode films usually break down into their constituents. Single pieces might be successful but often work poorly together. Here it is done really well, especially because the Paris framework with all its myths and environments is so stable." Aftonbladet's Jens Peterson thinks" Some are good, some are fantastic and others should not have been included." Take a look and see for yourself.
