A Soviet missile makes a small village in the Northern Finland the centre of global political panic in this humourous dark comedy. The year is 1984. Mother-of-two Nina (Oona Airola) asks for a job at the local paper (after having accidentally crashed into their window), while working her way out of a violent relationship. Her role as reporter seldom leads to anything interesting, but when an unidentified object causes a massive explosion, she suddenly finds herself at the centre of the action.
