Then it's time for six new Viddla films to enjoy during nice July evenings.

The film Promises at Dawn is based on the autobiography of the French author Romain Gary. It also tells the story of his mother, whose unlimited love was both a great support and a burden.

In Luis Buñuel's film classic Belle de jour from 1967, Catherine Deneuve plays the housewife Séverine who, driven by frustration and curiosity, and without her husband Pierre’s knowledge, starts working in a brothel.

The lone gunman drags a heavy coffin through a windswept desert landscape. Who is he? And what does the coffin contain? Django is seen by many as one of the best films in the spaghetti western genre and was so violent that it was completely banned in Sweden and many other countries when it premiered.

Lolita is based on Vladimir Nabokov's novel of the same name. This is the second time Lolita has been filmed and this interpretation has been considered darker than Stanly Kubrick's version from 1962. The professor Humbert Humbert moves in with a widow in New England and falls directly for the widow's 14-year-old daughter Dolores. The precocious Dolores and Professor Humbert begin a relationship, which is the start for the journey towards doom.
