In Viddla: award-winning film 2011

2022 Cannes Film Festival is currently running, on 17-28 May, and Viddla would therefore like to recommend the film Drive, which won the Best Director Award (Nicolas Winding Refn) at the 64th Cannes Film Festival in 2011.

The driver (Ryan Gosling) is a stunt driver who works with movie recordings in the days and extras as a getaway car driver at night. This anonymous lone wolf falls in love when he meets the beautiful young neighbor (Carey Mulligan). Irene, who has a little son, is drawn into a dangerous world by her husband Standard (Oscar Isaac) who returns after serving a prison sentence. To help Irene out The Driver acts as getaway car driver with Standard in a robbery that unexpectedly degenerates, and suddenly he is chased by Los Angeles's most dangerous criminal league.
