Finally Viddla-Thursday, the movie weekend is saved!

An independent film team from Seattle learns that their latest film will not be shown at any of the major festivals. Ultra low is a metadrama where we get to follow a group of filmmakers who do everything to break through Hollywood's locked doors. The film with Lauren Holly in the roles, among others, has won many awards, including for Best Original Sceneplay at the Amsterdam International Filmmaker Festival.

In the film Lost in La Mancha, we get to follow director Terry Gilliam, actor Johnny Depp and the rest of the team as they work on the film project The man who killed Don Quijote. After many years of hard work with financing, insurance and the search for the right actor, it's finally time for filming. But bad weather, sick actors and flash floods put the brakes on the recordings.

Horror writer Shirley Jackson and her husband, college professor Stanley, invite one of Stanley's protégés and his wife to move in with them. But what would have been an intellectual and creative togetherness is soon distorted into a social game, suspiciously similar to the psychological thrillers for which Shirley is famous. Shirley is based on the novel of the same name and was well received by reviewers when it premiered.

Charlatan is based on the true story of the Czech herbalist Jan Mikolášek who healed millions of people in the early 20th century. As Mikolášek became more successful and noted for his abilities, both the Nazi and Communist regimes began to take an interest in the unconventional healer and he was subjected to great trials.

In the action comedy Intergalactic Adventures of Max Cloud, Isabelle Allen plays the video game fan Sarah, who is literally drawn into her favorite game and ends up in an intergalactic prison for the galaxy's most dangerous villains. There is only one way to get out of there - by finishing the game. To help her, she has her best friend Cowboy, who controls the game from her room in her home in Brooklyn.

A family on a small farm in the country is trying to live as usual in the shadow of a violent coup that is going on in the country. The threat is constantly present, and one day some of the coup plotters show up in the yard. Stefan Jarl's film Before Winter Comes is a drama about the consequences of war.
