NOTE: As of March the 11th 2021 shortfilms is no longer free views they consumes half a loan

We offer a selection of short films in collaboration with Film Stockholm and Filmbasen which can be borrowed without restriction, ie they do not affect the number of loans that borrowers can use from their library. We call it "Viddla more".

All films have been shown at the short film festival STOCKmotion, which is held every year at Flimhuset in Stockholm.

Ten short films were launched at Viddla to begin with. By making the short films available through Viddla, they can be shown across the country, for borrowers connected to libraries offering streaming movies through Viddla.
For Stockholm library you will find the films at their homepage and the same goes for Örebro  library at their homepage.

The intention is to spread the project to other regions and, by extension, the ambition is that Viddla can become an established platform for disseminating and experiencing regionally produced short films. Viddla is technically ready for more regions that want to make similar efforts to easily  reach a wider audience with their regional short film offering via our platform.
