Viddla launches short films for free!

We now offer a selection of short films in collaboration with Film Stockholm and Filmbasen which can be borrowed without restriction, ie they do not affect the number of loans that borrowers can use from their library. We call it "Viddla more". All films have been shown at the short film festival STOCKmotion, which this year will be held October 11-12 at Fimhuset in Stockholm.

Ten short films will be launched at Viddla to begin with. The films will be exclusive to Viddla for a period of time. By making the short films available through Viddla, they can be shown across the country, for borrowers connected to libraries offering streaming movies through Viddla.

The intention is to spread the project to other regions and, by extension, the ambition is that Viddla can become an established platform for disseminating and experiencing regionally produced short films. Viddla is now technically ready for more regions that want to make similar efforts to easily  reach a wider audience with their regional short film offering via our platform.
