The Oscar and Golden Globe-winning Silver Linings Playbook, presents us Pat, a former teacher, just released from the psychiatric institution, where he was for a while, after trying to kill his wife's lover. Now he is forced to move in with his parents and do everything he can to reunite with his reluctant ex-wife. Throughout his eventful way there, he meets the mysterious Tiffany, who has a lot of problems of her own.
