This is an exciting and adventurous american comedy, a movie that through a modern approach blends computer animation with traditional staged scenes. Nim himself is a cocky young girl living isolated with her father who is a marine biologist on a Pacific island. Here she lives among exotic animal friends, surrounded by her many books about hero Alex Rover, the world's greatest adventurer. Suddenly, this existence is threatened when her father mysteriously disappears on the seven seas. But Nim knows what she must do. She turns to the creators of Alex Rover's books, who unexpectedly arrive on the island.
